Personally, I find the Tropico 4 more enjoyable to play (there are quite a few challenging scenarios as well) and the older ones are a better introduction to the series than the new releases. Tropico 4 - I love the Tropico series but to be honest with you i'd recommend Tropico 4 over T5 or T6 any day. I picked up their Las Vegas (Hotels) DLC on sale and that adds even more hours of interesting gameplay.

It's easy in enough to learn but more challenging to accomplish the main 'medal' worthy goals. That doesn't mean it isn't challenging because it can be, there are a lot of scenarios to try out, and contracts within it to do. I can't explain why it's so good but it is very calming and relaxing to play. Project Highrise - This is such an underrated game but an absolute gem. These are the few I would add to your list (from a previous reply I made on a similar subject on this subreddit a month ago): TLDR: I made a list of games that may be very similar to TwoPoint Hospital Stranded Sails - Explorers of the Cursed Islands (Coming Soon) Snowtopia: Ski Resort Tycoon (Coming Soon) If anyone has any comments or experience on some of the obscure ones on this list please let us know! I'll try to add more info or new games if I find any.ĭream Engines: Nomad Cities (Coming Soon)Įvil Genius 2: World Domination (Coming Soon) I didn't add any city-building games so I tried to focus mostly on the niche themed tycoons like TPH does with it's hospitals. I'm hoping other fans like me are looking for something like this too - so I made a list. If anyone knows of any other games or feedback, please let me know.

I'm hoping I can replicate that experience as best as possible in other games. The graphics, art-style, building-style, missions, and generally everything about TPH is what I'm looking to find. TwoPoint Hospital is by far the best simulator/tycoon game I've ever played (since Theme Hospital) and after completing it, I still have that itch to scratch.
